The official Autodesk scene-file package for the 3ds Max 2016 Help tutorials. It contains the working files for the modeling, materials, lighting, animation, rigging, particles and rendering exercises documented in the 2016 tutorials, built around the Scanline and mental ray renderers that were standard at the time.
The roughly 658 MB zip is still hosted on Autodesk's download server as a free direct download; the scenes open in newer versions of 3ds Max, but mental ray materials will need converting. A large, structured practice library for anyone working through core 3ds Max skills step by step.
