Free Unreal Engine 5.6 Geospatial Project: Cesium for Unreal Samples
Original title: Cesium for Unreal Samples
Overview
Cesium for Unreal Samples is the official starter project from Cesium GS for the Cesium for Unreal plugin, currently targeting Unreal Engine 5.6 and built mostly in Blueprints. Its levels stream real-world 3D Tiles such as Cesium World Terrain, OpenStreetMap buildings and Melbourne photogrammetry, and demonstrate georeferencing, sun position via the built-in SunPosition plugin, dynamic pawns and scenes that work at global scale.
The roughly 63 MB project is on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license and is also offered free on Fab; the Cesium for Unreal plugin is a free Fab download, and some datasets require a Cesium ion account token. A must-have for digital-twin, simulation and geospatial visualization work.
