Free Unreal Engine 5.3 GAS Sample Project: GASDocumentation (tranek)
Original title: GASDocumentation
Overview
GASDocumentation by tranek (Dan Kestranek) is the community's de-facto guide to Unreal's Gameplay Ability System, and the repository ships a simple multiplayer sample project for Unreal Engine 5.3 alongside the written documentation. The C++ sample demonstrates abilities, attributes, gameplay effects, tags and cues, prediction, the different replication modes and ability tasks, giving each concept in the guide a concrete, runnable counterpart.
It is on GitHub under the MIT license at roughly 124 MB with the .uproject included, uses only the engine's built-in GameplayAbilities plugin, offers branches for older engine versions, and needs Visual Studio to compile. Required reading for anyone adopting GAS in a serious project.
