Overview

Unreal-HandGameplay is Meta's open-source Hand Gameplay Showcase for Unreal Engine 5.6, published through the oculus-samples GitHub organization under the MIT license. It packages reusable grab, poke and teleport interaction components taken from 'First Steps with Hand Tracking' and 'Tiny Castles' into a complete Blueprint and C++ project that relies on the OculusXR and OpenXR hand-tracking plugins.

The repository must be cloned with Git LFS, and because it targets Quest builds you need a Meta Quest headset to actually try the interactions; PC-only users can still read the components. Essential reference material for VR developers designing controller-free hand interactions.
