Free TouchDesigner VJ System with OSC Audio & MIDI (Black Pomeranian)

Overview

Black Pomeranian built this complete VJ system in TouchDesigner 2025.32050 and shares it free on GitHub, with a Japanese write-up on note.com explaining its structure. The .toe and .tox pair combines generative scenes and effects under an extensible UI, BPM and frequency-band audio analysis received over OSC from the free Sound2Light app, MIDI control mapped to an AKAI APC mini mk2 (a mouse works too) and some POP-based effects.

The files (0.85 MB .toe plus 0.91 MB .tox) are free to use and modify, subject to the conditions in the post's download section, and were developed on an RTX 4060 laptop. A rare end-to-end look at a working VJ rig.
