Free TouchDesigner Starters & Utility Toxes: Physarum, Boids (DBraun)

Overview

David Braun (DBraun) shares TouchDesigner_Shared, a GitHub collection of 30 .toe 'Starters' and 107 utility .tox files, updated in April 2025. The starters span Physarum slime-mold, boids, Hilbert-curve blending, Möbius transformations, optical-flow compute-shader particles, percentage-closer soft shadows, weighted Linde-Buzo-Gray stippling, MediaPipe hand-gesture states and recreations of etiennejcb and Matt Taylor animations, while the toxes add CHOP, DAT, audio and beat helpers such as tap tempo, low-pass analysis, ADSR lookup and s-curves.

All of it is a free direct download under GPL-3.0, which requires derivative works to be shared; some examples need external tools such as the MediaPipe plugin or ImageMagick, and a few were adapted from forum posts.
