Overview

mamo's 26th tutorial, part A of a three-part 'Butterfly particles mapping' series, comes with its TouchDesigner .toe on Google Drive. This first part is a beginner particle setup in which a Particle SOP sends particles chasing the mouse cursor position read from a Mouse In CHOP, and the later parts map a butterfly image onto them.

The file is a free direct download with no signup and no special hardware, but it was made in a 2018 build of TouchDesigner by a self-described amateur, so treat it as a learning sketch rather than a polished tool. Handy for absolute beginners exploring SOP particles and mouse interaction.
