Overview
anya maryina's Bus Seat tutorial project recreates the busy generative fabric patterns found on bus seats using TouchDesigner instancing. The network instances layers of circles, tiny circles and squiggles from SOP and CHOP data through Geometry COMPs and composites them over a generated background, a clear example of how a few instanced primitives can build a dense textile-like design.
The project file is free on Gumroad at 0 euros, released in October 2025 alongside the YouTube tutorial, and needs no special hardware. Useful for generative design and pattern work.
