Overview
The CAD/CAM laboratory of Nippon Institute of Technology (日本工業大学) publishes these SolidWorks teaching materials for machine design (機械要素部品), offered as separate zips for the 2018 and 2019 versions. They contain feature-based machine-element models driven by JIS designations such as module and tooth count (spur, helical and bevel gears, a rack, a hex bolt and nut), plus assembly examples of a reducer, cylinder engine, DC motor and bearing.
Each zip (gear 5.5 MB, bolt 9.3 MB, reducer 13.7 MB, cylinder engine 3.4 MB, DC motor 14.6 MB, bearing 2.4 MB) includes a PDF manual and downloads free and directly; no license terms are stated on the page.
