Overview

Practical Compositing in Nuke is Foundry's official multi-lesson course led by Austin Meyers, with project files made for Nuke 12.0. It follows a shot through a full production workflow: merging, script organization, colorspace, tracking, roto, paint, keying, transforms and warping, and finishing.

The full_course.zip (about 14.9 GB, listed as 13.8 GB on the page) contains 14 .nk comps with before and after versions per lesson, five gizmos (ColorDiffKeyer, color_offset_method, Grain_mask_v4, Matte_Edge_Control, RainMaker4) and 1,584 EXR frames, downloadable per lesson or all at once from direct S3 links with no login. It is a substantial free training set for compositors building real shot skills.
