Overview
CGCircuit has made the full first volume of David Adan's Destruction series free, about 3.3 hours updated to Houdini 18, along with its example project files. The course covers advanced RBD fracturing: Voronoi patterns, bricks and clustering, interior detail and UVs, boolean fracturing for solids, shattering and cutting planes, the RBD Material Fracture workflow for glass and wood, localized fracturing, chipping and the fracturing features new in Houdini 18.
The example files come as five chapter zips (chapter 4 is an OTL/HDA) from the CGCircuit site, which requires a free account; the product page lists the tool version as Houdini 17.5. An in-depth resource for destruction artists.
