Free Godot 4.7 Project: Official 2D Platformer Demo (Godot Engine)
Original title: 2D Platformer
Overview
The 2D Platformer is one of the official Godot Engine demo projects, a pixel-art side-scroller written in GDScript whose master branch targets Godot 4.7 features. Built on CharacterBody2D, it demonstrates slope walking, rigid-body bullets, patrolling enemies, moving platforms, a level-bounded camera, coins, a pause menu and keyboard or gamepad input, all on the Compatibility renderer.
It is MIT licensed and available from the godot-demo-projects GitHub repository, which keeps separate branches for stable 4.0-4.3 and 3.x releases, or as a free item on the Godot Asset Store. The heavily commented scripts make it a good first study project.
